Mykala's lucky day

Mykala is now a very happy teenager. Last week she was supposed to
go in and have the second half of her minor surgery on her toe. She was
so anxious and distraught about it. So we go in and the doctor says there
is not point in going through with the surgery because it is not a recurring
injury. He wanted to see how things progress on their own. We were totally
relieved, but at the same time it would have been nice for him to tell us this
at our first appointment. So we are keeping our fingers crossed that all will
continue to go well.
