WOW! That was close.

We got real lucky last week!!
Last Sunday we decided to clean our oven while we were at church,
you know, to avoid that horrible smell and smoke. We turned it on just
before we left for church. In the middle of Sacrament meeting Rhett
got up and left. He was gone for quite a while. When he came back, he
smelled like he had been at a camp fire. I asked if he had gone home, a
quick nod of his head and I knew what had happened.
Rhett had the impression to go home and when he did our house was
filled with smoke, the alarms going off. When he opened the back door
to let some smoke out, Ginger (our dog) went running through the entire
house to make sure everyone was out.
I really don't know what would have happened if Rhett didn't go home, I
just know that we do not have an oven right now, and our house had ashes
everywhere. I am still cleaning it up.
We have had to get real creative in our cooking with out an oven. Makes you
think!! AND be very greatfull that we are okay and that we still have a house!!
