Our Vegatarian
We have a vegatarian dog! Our dumb dog is eating everything in our garden.
We have strawberries, tons of them, and we have not been able to even taste one.
Ginger (our dog) waits until they are a day or two from being ripe and nabs
them. So, we thought we would out smart her. We got chicken wire and made
a fence around our garden. She jumps it. She LOVES our tomatoes too. We
have about 15 awesome looking ones growing right now. One of them was
turning red, almost ready. BOOM, it was gone. For our strawberries, we put a
chicken wire "cage" around them (we have them in pots). That drove her crazy!
Ha, ha, thinking we would finally get our strawberries. WRONG!! She tips over
the pots and claws the "cage" off. Gone. All of them. She even eats our Romaine
lettuce. What a crazy dog! Our zucchini is really starting to grow, I wonder if she
will eat that too?
Okay, in the middle of the night, last night, I got an idea. So this moning I took
the rest of our chicken wire and made a "cage" around our entire garden. The
thing about it, I enclosed it all the way, so even we can't get in. Will she get in
our garden now? We'll see...
