Hyrum's New Look

Our little Hyrum now has a new look to him.
He just got his new glasses yesterday. It
makes him look older with them on, adds to
his cuteness too!
You know Dallin and Jensen wear eye patches
for their lazy eye; well we were at one of
their eye appointments when I asked the Doctor
to look at Hyrum's eyes. I had seen just once
or twice what looked like a possible or very
slight turn of his eye. The doctor looked at
him and said good thing I am having him checked!
Hyrum is almost completely blind in his right eye.
He said that his is more dangerous and scary than
Dallin & Jensen's because his eye muscles are still
strong and stay straight, therefore it's harder to
catch, whereas D & J's was obvious.
So now Hyrum has these awesome glasses to wear. On
his right eye he has a trifocal lense and on his left
it is a bifocal. The doctor is hoping that the glasses
will strenghten his eye. If it does not we will have to
start patching like Dallin & Jensen. I really, really
hope it does not come to that.
I am glad that I got him into the doctor and that I was
it that one time. I really started to doubt myself about
it and almost cancelled the appointment for him. SOOO
glad I didn't.
So far he has done pretty good wearing them. Leaves them
on most of the time.
