Looking for Adventure Anyone?

You would not believe what I saw today, in the
space of 10 minutes! I was taking Dalin & Jensen
to their eye appointment, driving down a road
that has some construction going on (always, huh).
I see the "Be Prepared to Stop" sign and hope that
I will make it through, because of course I was
running a little late. Well I didn't quite make
it, I was toward the front. Any way, off to the side
of us is a huge helicopter, very low and dragging
something. It was interesting seeing this huge
helicopter, and the boys were in total heaven
watching it. It was going very slow and careful.
As we were watching it I realized it was dragging
an electrical line and had to manouver very close
to the utility towers. They were so close! I mean
I was holding my breath watching them. They had to
use this helicopter to drag this line through an open
section and then finish pulling it through. I am not
joking when I say, one wrong move or even a gust of
wind and that helicopter would have gone down and we
would have been hit with debris. When they finally
made it through I was watching for the traffic to start
moving again. On the other side I saw 2 police cars
come through with their lights on. I was thinking that
they were the lead cars letting the traffic through. They
stopped on the road next to me and get out with their guns
drawn and walk to a vehicle about 3 behind me. They
yell for the person to get out, he opens the door, they grab
him, throw him to the ground and handcuff him. I SAW IT ALL!!!
Holy cow, my adrenaline was totally pumping. The traffic finally
started back up and we were 20 minutes late for our appontment.
I asked if we were too late, saying "you would not believe
what I just saw and why we were late". They just looked at me
with that kind of "yeah right we've heard all the excuses before"
look. They let us in anyway. Whew!
The boys were excited to go to school and tell their friends
what they got to see. Do you think their friends will believe
them? LOL
