Catch up (not the red stuff)

Hello everyone!

Here are a bunch of pics so as to catch you all up on
the doings before our move.

The pics below are that of our last mutual in our ward.
I was excited about this activity and made sure to stay
an extra week so we could take part in it.

We borrowed a bunch of wedding dresses from people
in the ward, girls tried them on, we did their make -up
and hair, and then they got their pic taken in front of a
temple picture. Then as part of Mykala's last YW project,
she made and learned how to decorate a wedding cake. It
was a great learning experience for BOTH of us!
Our last Sunday in our ward Mykala recieved her YW
Personal Progress medallion.

Sorry there are a lot of pics!

It was a full mock reception almost...

Here is Mykala cutting the wedding cake

One of the leaders made a bouquet to throw.
It broke (whether in the air or the girls
"fighting" over it) and a couple girls got it.

Sarah was a little shy and wouldn't
come out. So I was only allowed to
take a pic of her in the room.
Beautiful, but scary to me!!

Takes me forward about 10 years.

This is Sarah's best friend, Alexis.
She is another daughter of ours.

She is not a member, but I am hoping that maybe
one day.

Now this was a reality check.
Beautiful!!!

Really, this is not that far away.

WOW!

This is the cake Mykala put more than 10 hours
into.

She had to do A LOT of readjusting.
Therefore it doesn't look like what
we had originally planned. Like I
said, we learneda a lot.

Mykala made this dress as part of
her YW project also. With the help of
a great and talented lady in our ward,
she helped Mykala turn an inmodest
dress pattern into this.

This too took more than 10 hours, but Mykala
is so excited about this dress. It looks great on
her too. If you look closely, you can see Mykala's
YW medallion necklace.
Good Job Mykala!!!!!

Ethan turned 5!

He doesn't understand it, he just knows everyone
else gets excited when they get some.

Isaac's birthday party fun. It's hard to see, there
is a monkey in the tree and they had to feed the
monkey a banana. (Much like pin the tail)

Isaac's monkey cupcakes.

The beehives in our ward made this
most adorable cake for me as a farewell.

I thought it was so cute, I really, really
didn't want to cut it.
Thank you PC2 Beehives!!!
