We have Bears!!

Dallin & Jensen have earned their Bear awards in Cub Scouts. Soon they
will move on to Webelos. I can't believe they are getting that old.
We had our pack meeting at our ward camp out, which unfortunately
was very cold and rainy. We opted not to sleep over and found out
later that that was very wise. It rained a heavy rain all night then turned
into snow in the morning with the temp about 30 degrees. That did
not sound like fun to us. Dallin and Jensen started the pack meeting by
doing the flag ceremony. We practiced at least an hour before we left so
they would look like they knew what they were doing. I didn't take any
pics cause I wasn't sure if that was appropriate. It ended up that they did a
great job. Jensen was the caller and Dallin was the flag carrier. Then we
stayed for the award ceremony for D & J and then left for home. Even that
was hard driving with all the rain. We were glad when we made is safely
home to our nice warm beds!

These are a few of the cub scouts that sang a
song at the beginning of the pack meeting to
get it going. Remember the song...
I said a Boom chic a Boom... then everyone repeats
and does it several different ways. Dallin had
Taco Bell style. Jensen was at the end of the line
cause he did "the end of the world" style and
therefore ended the song. It was cute and fun.

in which Dallin and Jensen received their Bear
award from cub scouts.
The boy in the middle was acting as Honorary
Cub master; he is working for his Eagle.
