Thanksgiving Fun

I was looking for things for my kids to do while they had a 5

day Thanksgiving break. So I came up with this project for

them to do. (I actually found this idea in a book I had)

They were to all work TOGETHER or split into 2 teams and

work together. They chose the latter. I was really impressed

at how well they worked with each other. There was NO fighting

during this. So we had an hour or so of peace! They had so much

fun with this that they said they wanted to this project again. Of

course an add bonus was that they got to eat their creations in the

end.

What they had to do was use gum drops and toothpicks and build

a structure that could hold weight.
